I just tested positive yesterday. I am about 4 weeks now. But 2 weeks ago, I went for MRI, any idea will it affect my pregnancy? I dont't know I will get pregnant. The earliest appt with the gynae is 14 apr. I am super worried now
if the MRI is done 2 weeks ago, meaning you are 2 weeks pregnant, its your conception week, so theoretically there should not be a baby yet, I suppose it should be ok (?). Anyway what's done cannot be undone, dont't worry, best to check with your gynae about your concerns.

MRI has not been proven to have any adverse effects on the baby. If you are concerned you should call up your gynae's clinic and tell them if it was okay for you to take the MRI at that time. If there is any cause for alarm they will call you in earlier. Anyway your appointment is only 2 days away.
Having said that, you probably won't be able to see anything on the ultrasound now to see baby's heartbeat. Usually the ultrasound will be able to get the baby's heartbeat around 6-8 weeks. Some earlier, some later.
So dont't worry too much, take your pre-natal vitamins and rest well!

thanks to all the replies.
i didnt expect that i get BFP this time round cos in late Jan i was had operation to take away the blood cyst in my pituitary gland. It had been causing my prolactin level to be very high and affecting my ovulation.
then on 22 Mar, i need to do another MRI to confirm my cyst is totally removed. I didnt test at that time whether i am pregnant or not. Then on 9 Apr, i missed my mense and i went to test, it was BFP! then i realised i already 4 weeks ....so i am super worried
i have change my appt to tomorrow
if i based on the estimated EDD date to calculate, my conception will be Thursday, March 18, 2010 and Wednesday, March 24, 2010.
