Re: Anyone has milk leak from breasts?

No worries. It's sign that you'll be a very cow after delivery.

Mine started leaking in my 5/6th month. Leak very badly (whole T-shirt soaked). Had to use breast pads to prevent any unslightly milk patches on my shirt. And you must keep your nipples clean, else you'll get blocked ducts and it can get infected if blocked.

I hope i do be a cow supplying milk to my baby after birth but will it leak my colostrum out before i get to feed my baby?

hmmm..do you think i should start seeing a lactation consultant?

Re: Anyone has milk leak from breasts?

No worries. As long as there's no redness/hotness in your breasts, no pain, there's no need to worry. If you feel that the leak is irritating you (like it did for me), then just buy breast pads to use

No need to see lactation consultant yet. Just wash your nipples clean daily and if possible, use chemical free moisturiser on it so that it won't be dry and cracked. I used organic olive oil (those we use for cooking) to apply on my nipples so that the skin won't crack. Helps alot when breastfeeding

The milk flow seems to have slowed down and only when i squeeze then i will see droplets of milk, breasts never grow in size.
Next week gonna see Lactation consultant for advise.
