I started feeling my baby's movements when I was 16 wks along. Currently, i'm the same as you.. 19th week. 16th week-the kicks and movemnts were subtle, yet strong enuff for me to know that they were not just bubbles. 17th weeks onwards, got stronger. and i noticed that my baby likes to 'park' his/her body more on my right side. when that happens, i can really feel my skin stretch at that area. my tummy will be very obviously lopsided to one side.
anybody experience that too?? i assume my baby is doing the lazy cat stretch with the butt sticking up. *lol* my baby now is actively moving every 5 mins or so, and i wonder when will he/she ever rest!
you can try lying down flat on your back w/o moving, sooner or later you will be able to sense even the slightest movement. I read somewhere in an article that mommies will small body frames will tend to feel the movements earlier and better.
