Thanks lonerjas. I heard a lot of good comments about mt A but only so-so comments for mt E... anyway mt E is a lot more expensive than the rest... I will go for the mt A delievry suite tour before I decide... Thanks!

Cheers!

U can consider TMC oso, i heard they hv this special pkg like if u book for 4 bedded they will auto upgrade u to 2 bedded if there is availability. If you book for 2 bedded they give u 1 bedded if available.. FOC no top ups..

Re: Comparing hospitals for delivery - Mt E or Mt A?

Actually personally y i chose TMC in the beginnin cos my gynae is there and 2nd point is super super near my house till can even walk there! Lol. But if not ill choose Mt E? cos my mum wanted me to go to the gynae who delivered me las time. OMG can u imagine its weird my mum's gynae who delivered me and if i were to go back to him, can u imagine how old he is?! like ah gong already. was worried he not "Zai" = steady.! LOL.
But many of my friends told me dont do Mt E too cos of the ERP they have to pay if they wans to come visit the baby!! LOL

Really? I am delivering next month at TMC.
But i have opted for 2 bedded.
Do you think i can still opt for 4 bedded now? alamak, i din know about the free upgrade thingy...

So the nurses there are very helpful with bf mums?
actually, that is my major concern when in hospital. without experience, i really need to be guided. i heard proper guidance will help to make bf smooth and easier. thanks alot for the info.

so you stay in whampoa? i am staying further down - rangoon (race course)

Hmm y not u try calling up TMC and ask if u can opt for 4 beder now? ya i love the staffs there. i used to stay room 320A in Oct07 and that station's nurses super nice and helpful. even wrote a letter to compliment them. Even the nurses who helped during my labour also super nice & comforting la so i die die must go bac TMC for my 2nd baby. my stay at TMC was great & my gynae also good = Perfect! Enjoyed my pregnancy n labour! LOL!!!!

Re: Comparing hospitals for delivery - Mt E or Mt A?

My opted for the 4-bedded one cos my gynae says there will be a free upgrade to 2 bedded when 4 bedded is full, and they only have 1 4 bedded room for delivery mummies. Me stayed in 520 in oct last year. Wonder if it will be the same room when i deliver in Jan 09 again..
*my cousin go the same room and bed for 2 kids 3 years apart!

My gynae's clinic is in TMC and the nurses and midwife will actually come and assist u and help u so u wont feel helpless, they help you to latch on properly, they nice nice green payaya fish soup and confinement food, me always ask for 2 cups of milo in the middle of the night (hungry easily) and they come fast!

Re: Comparing hospitals for delivery - Mt E or Mt A?

oh... how is the traffic flow at Mt A and MT E?

cos i think during the am and pm peak the traffic is highly conjested? if yes then have to remind bb to choose a good time for arrival, avoid peak hours...

haha, i did that to my son, ask him to choose the time btw 9 to 11.59pm on his birthdate....
