Feeling baby heartbeat & kicks

I am going into ww19 this week, i heard that most mummies can feel their bb kicking now...
Some times I can feel, but most of the times, I cannot feel. I put my hand on the tummy to feel bb kick and heartbeat, sometimes I can feel bb heartbeart very strong, but sometimes I feel nothing at a whole day. It is common? I am kind of worry.

Please advice,

Many thanks in advance

Re: Feeling baby heartbeat & kicks

Hi Cherishbebe and Naze!

I think it should be common cos some times I feel my baby kicks, but some times I don't. Later of the months, the kicks will become more obvious and vigorous. Now not so obvious maybe is bcos baby is still small or Perhaps Baby's sleeping or what? Hmm.. to clear doubts, approach ur gynaes. Take cares and congrats, mum to be!

Re: Feeling baby heartbeat & kicks

Hi, all

I m on 22wk now and hv same problem like your on yesterday. The baby movement not strong & not obviously. I felt worry and called my gynae on late afternoon. She told me try to drink cold water and lying to feel it again. Then, it's really exactly like what she said, my baby kicking me obviously. All mummies can try it to prove that your baby is ok.
Anyway, my gynae told me dun worry too much, bcs my baby only 5mths+, baby still small and movement not so obviously sometimes.

Wink Re: Feeling baby heartbeat & kicks

my baby seems to move more after i drink plenty of plain water

drinking lots of plain water is very important throughout pregnancy. the amount of plain water we drink is critical to our baby in the womb.

Hi Pwiincess,

I dont dare to ask him this question as my gynae is a quiet person. Think should be 5-6 months ?
