they told you over the phone that you need to get the insulin shots?
i was first very worried when i received the call from Kandang Kerbau Hospital too..
but when i attended the one day course, they monitored my glucose level, and then it was decided that diet control would be sufficient.
what i had to do was to "rent" this blood test machine home..a tiny PDA lookalike thing.. very easy to use
you better check with the nurse what is this all about , and also speak to your gynae.
i pestered 2 nurses and my gynae what the reading was all about
but to confess, after the course, i ate as normal...
i think it is what i ATE the night before the blood test for gestational diabetes...
i fasted from 11pm to 9am...but before that...i had durians for dessert!
