Hi all. Sorry if this issue has been discussed before.
Yesterday, around 5am in the morning, i was awaken by a terrible sharp menstrual cramp pain on my lower ab, from the right to the left, where the baby is. It was so pain that i cldnt move. And the pain extended to the back, where my tail bone is. It feels really weird. I never felt such a terrible pain before. The cramp was continuous. It only begins to subside early in the morning at about 9+ and got better at about 11+. I did not encounter any bleeding nor spotting, so i assume the baby is fine. Is there anything i need to worry about? oh ya, btw i just entered my 2nd trimester (3 mths preg).
Pls advise. Thanks in advance.
i did call up my gynae. He said as long as its not bleeding nor spotting, its ok. And of course he said the pain has to subside in about a few hours. And it indeed subside after my call with the gynae. haha. I hope there is nothing much to worry about.
my gynae said before that it is the expanding of your uterus. but i dont't encounter such long pain. even until now i am 22 weeks, i will sometime still feel the sharp cramp.
so long gynae confirm nothing, than need not worry too much. rem to ask again during your next check-up.
