This is a discussion on anyone experiencing pains around lower abdomen area? within the Third Trimester forum, part of the Pregnancy Forum category; hi all, i am in my 34th week of pregnancy. in the last few days, i have been having problems ...
i am in my 34th week of pregnancy. in the last few days, i have been having problems getting up from sitting position. everytime i stand, i have a very tight sensation around my pelvic area; the type where you will get in your muscles after a very intense work out at the gym. i am finding it hard to walk. sometimes it gets better after i lie down for awhile.
is this normal? anyone experiencing this? should i see my gynea immediately?
thanks for the assurance. can't wait for my gynea appt tomorrow. i want to know baby's status in this last leg of pregnancy.
yeah, i have it, tooo.... i heard it is normal... ya, just got to be a bit more careful and get up a bit slower... pause for a while when you are standing up... when you feel beta, then walk...
yea i also having this...it's becoz our pelvic ligament is stretching to get ready for delivery...so just need to take time when standing up from sitting position..
sometimes i forgot to take it slowly too and end up feeling sharp pain
O ya, nowadays i feel very pain at my lower ab too when baby moving..it's like i can feel the baby really there and trying to get out soon...is anyone also like that? hehehe
yah.. same here, i do feel pain the moment i stand up from a sitting position.
But no problem with walking.. at least can still exercise =)
just want to share with you some new information. just went for my gynea visit yesterday. asked the doctor about these pains i have been feeling. doctor said it is fine... its just the muscles expanding, getting ready for labour. Also partly because baby is pressing downwards because for me, baby is already engaged.
so dont't worry!
I only start to feel the pain or this morning till now. I rest on my bed till my back feel pain too. Does this mean that my baby is coming out real soon? Cos I'm only left with 10 days till my EDD.
i think your back pains could be due to the weight of baby resting on your spine. my gynea mentioned that the lower abdonminal pains has got nothing to do with the date of delivery.
I'm now in 34 weeks + 5 days (i.e. almost full 35 weeks) and I have all the pains that you mummies have mentioned.
Started having braxton hicks since about 2 weeks ago, occasional mild cramps in different areas of the tummy. Pelvic area also will have pains once in a blue moon though..
Have been doing household chores every weekend ~ treated like exercising & also to decumulate the dust , until today, after vaccum and mopping the house, my backache (especially left waist stretch down to hips area) was so bad that my mum & hubby forbid me to do anymore household chores.
I am willing to endure all these pains for the sake of my darling baby but I still hope these pains will go away immediately after my baby is borned!!!!!
