its the carbo thats the culprite...trust me..i know...i went 2 weeks with as little carbo as possible and only gained 0.5kgs but when i let myself go and bing on sandwiches, noodles, pizza and rice..i gained 2.5kgs in less than 1 month
BUT BUT BUT i LOVE noodles n ice cream n pizza and yogurt...lotsa lotsa yogurt!!
guess i should cut down on noodles, white rice etc...
My 1st pregnancy total weight gain was 24kg,deduct away baby boy's weight n placenta all that about 10kg,I gained like 12kg..love carbo stuff at that pregnancy.. Now in my 28weeks in my 2nd pregnancy , gained 11kg so far, baby at 1.09kg now.. This pregnancy Me n my baby girl simply dont rice/noodles all that carbo stuff..It's lesser than my 1st pregnancy but me n baby still healthy during both pregnancies..
I can't rem exact for my 1st pregnancy but it's quite alot,16 or 18kg at 28weeks if not wrong.. I only rem my weight gain during 2nd trimester was highest as I was kinda stressed back then..3rd trimester was almost all the water retention, didnt gain much, about 2kg per month for last 3months.. My family said I look fatter during the same stage in my 1st pregnancy,so I also not sure..
Took me about 9mths to shred off that extra 10kg as I wasnt those sporty person, just lost them looking after my baby n breastfed for 1st 2months..was left with 2kg more to lose but was already too lazy haha, then got pregnant with 2nd again..
My gynae ask me to cut down on carb n sugar too but it's difficult when you do not have home cook food. Eating out mostly end up with rice or noodles. I'd gained 11kg at 33wks.
At times it's hard to control.. I trying to control my sugar intake to avoid complications during delivery.. So far sugar level is still good.. Try oatmeal for a change of supper or snacks, healthy n filling for the stomach yet not fattening..If find it too tasteless, can add sugar n Milo in too ^^ Helps the constipation too =x my baby girl dont like carbo stuff,so I can hopefully gain lesser weight than my 1st pregnancy..
oh no! I think i will need to lose alot wt after give birth..me now 28wk, already gain 10kg.... must try to cut down sugar stuff....
dont listen to your hubby, tats fats gained during pregnancy.. To hold up such big n heavy tummy, our lower body need to gain some weight, muscles n fats too.. N as tummy compresses down, pelvic bone n cervix prepares for the baby, more fats cells n tissues will be forced to move down into your butt n thigh area..dont 4get that water retention n tensed blood vessels too.. Tell your hubby your figure now is all bcuz of giving birth to his baby, tell him cannot complain now..haha.. After given birth can slim down back, but still need time, usually 6mths-1yr will be about there, depend how hardworking you r..all that fats n weight took 10mths to build up on you during pregnancy, won't expect it to go off within 1-2mths time without building back your healthy body 1st..
