CJmom: Taka Baby Fair has them (Kotex). $6 for a pack of 10's.
Cjmom: maternity mattress pads - can be both at mothercare (but abit more ex), i have bought some from Taka baby fair (7 dollars for 2 packs of 5's) But size is smaller than the ones from Mothercare. Taka Baby Fair is still on till 29 March.
Good to keep some pads even though if you intend to breastfeed. After my lochia ended, i ended up with spotting and spotty periods. so i used a liner instead.
mothercare also carries their housebrand of adhesive maternity pads.
i prefer kotex as the backing for the pads is waterproof and pad is also wider. mothercare pads tend to leak from the sides and back as the pads are narrower than kotex's and the backing is not so waterproof for the range i bought.
the maternity mattress pads issit those things to lay onto my beds to prevent bed stains if flow is too heavy? Blue in colour with some foam backing?
the last time i took quite a lot from hospital before i discharge. Save $$. (If we are talking about the same thing)
CanCanMum: You are right on the maternity mattress pads, it's the same one I am talking about. Suppose to help prevent staining of our mattress and bedsheets
cancanmum: i tend to toss and turn. So have to get these prepared cause most of my bedsheets are white.
yeah yeah beta coz stained difficult to wash...so big sheet.... fan.
wash is okay, but i am just afraid those stains cannot get off! then will be like one big very light yellow/ brown patch left there.
Hi, I only saw this brand 'Annaku' (it's the baby stuff brand, can't really spell it) at Kiddy palace at $8 for 20 pcs. Also wanted to find the brand that they use in hospital, the pink colour packing. But, can't find it at the super market and kiddy palace.
