Overall, she is a very pretty and gentle doctor...
I think unlike Dr.Adelina,my gynae Dr.Paul Tseng does not do 3D/4D ultrasounds at his clinic...Will ask him about it when i go for my detailed scanning on the 10th July..
i just called the Dr.Adelina clinic to check on the scan. Best done between 28 to 32 weeks.
Need to pay the 1st time consultation fee of $80 - $150, the 3d pic is charged at $50 per piece and the 4D is $125.
dear mummies, before going for your 3d/4d scan do remember to "talk" and sayang sayang your baby so they will cooperate hehehe there such cases where some parents are quite disappointed cos the baby view is block and worse they still will charge you for the service..Hope this will help...
Yap, the price is as above for Dr Adelina. For me, i took a pkg so there is no need to pay the consulation fee. The first time i went to check if im pregnant, they are charging me 1st time consultation at $80. If you are just taking the 3D picture, its at $50. For me, i choose the 4D cos its more real to see my baby movement. Doctor actually give me one piece of 3D picture and a pc of A4 paper type, consist of 8 small pictures of my baby boy...
Its definetely better to do at your own clinic othwerwise the prices will be slightly higher...

my gynae package is inclusive of the 3d scan. But during my 29 weeks appt, baby did not face up, so unable to take the 3d scan.
Sometimes it reali depends on luck whether baby cooperative or not.
if my next appt baby still not cooperative, than no more chance to take already.
for mummies who are spending money to do the scan, reali have to keep talking to baby. or you have to check with the clinic whether will they still charge you the full amount or not if baby at that point did not cooperate.
Just to share, I just found out that 3D/4d Scan is also available at NUH too. Comes with 2 3D pictures and a CD with 2 video clips, $149.80 (after GST).
anyone can share how it looks like?
paiseh my time only got those 2d pictures~~~
really a wonder~~~nowadays technical advancement~~~
BTW, I tech idiot.
but how to do those thanked posts huh? i keep wanting to thank a lot of pple but dont't know how to do it.
For my gynae, she is very honest. I told her in advance im keen in the 4D so that she can take note when im approaching 7th month. that time im not prepared to do thescan, just went in and my gynae say she will help me check if my baby is active, if not she will not proceed. While checking my baby is very active and we just proceed to the scan...
wahhhhhhhhhhhh soooo cool...!!! Can see baby's face sooo clearly...Will take note of it once i approach my 7th month...!!! Thanks for sharing uddermummy...!!!
Anyone went to NUH?
I went and my vcd video clips of baby only total less than 1 or 2 mins i think.
but i hear you guys got 15 mins?? its in one whole stretch or by clip after clip??
Is it that its cheaper thats why shorter?
or today the person in charge just lazy to do a longer clip for me?
Just did my 3D/4D scan at Radlink this afternoon, paid $150.
My baby not cooperative, was facing downwards so not clear...
How long did you take to do the scanning? dont know if its harmful for baby...
Yes, my hubby is with me in the whole scanning. We paid $150 for 3 pic and around 15 short video clips. Managed to capture some nice shot, although baby not facing directly..
Can see baby sucking thumb, yawning in the video.. very cute, so still worth it ..
Must say the sonographer is quite patient already. But my baby just wun change position, maybe he too shy...
Can i check with you which week you were when you went for the 4d scan? If i am not the patient of Radlink, is it i just call up to make appointment or do i have to see their doctor first before i can go for the 4d scan?
