Hi all! I'm in my 22nd weeks and im currently fasting. So far, i feel ok except for the overwhelming fatigue. the hunger is still there, but after breaking fast, its all ok. but alot of ppl questioning why im fasting and that its not good for the baby.
im wondering whether there are any preggy mommies out there fasting now? and is it really not good to be fasting at this time?
I'm in my 37 weeks n i'm not fasting.. Wished i could though..Been having vry bad MS frm start up till now n it gets worse wen i'm on an empty stomach.. Ppl say that its not good for baby but i doubt there's any proof so far.. I think if you feel that you can do it then it shudn't b a prob.. Bt make do keep up wit baby movements to ensure that baby is still as active with or w/t food.. All the best ya.. Happy fasting
thanx mommies..i tink i better call up my gynae for advise. hmm i tink my baby is not as active. which makes me a bit worried.
I was fasting still when i had my baby... Sometimes if can tahan, i fast but if cant , then i eat .. Altogether i didnt fast for 10days.. I have delivered my baby in march, a healthy chubby baby.. But then it depends on individual tahan limit. A doc would obviously says that we cant fAst..
I was about 5-6 mths pregnant during last ramadan and I fasted. it was ok...I think my gynae did not discourage me against it, during our monthly check ups all the vitals were ok and I felt fine. Sometimes very tired and sometimes very hungry but God knows best
selamat berpuasa everyone
Hi i'm 19 wks along and am fasting. have asked my gynae if it's ok and she said it's fine. However, if i do feel giddy or unwell while doing so, then should break my fast immediately. I guess ppl are concern with the well-being of your baby, that it would stump his/her growth and would advise you against it. It's really up to the individual =)
Same here.. M still fasting for this ramadhan. But i ever read in d papers featuring Dr Jazlan about fasting. Its actually up to individual. Ders a mommy who is her 3rd trimester who tried to fast for d 1st day, but end up by mid aftrn, her baby didnt move d whole day. She gets worried & starts to eat. Once she starts eatin, her baby starts to move as per normal. In this case i think, d mother shdnt fast for d sake & importance of her baby...
Anyway, for myself, i will fast but if i felt any uneasiness during d day, i will certainly break my fast for my baby's sake. All d best!!
Hello again mummies.... since i know yng di sini semua for sure Muslims, i wanna kaypoh & ask...

3) Sunat was 1 month I think...I waited till the follow up with the pediatrician about the jaundice. At Dr Sidek's clinic.
