Rep Power: 0 Reputation: 10  | Anyone encouters scan that shows only the gestational sac without the yolk sac? Hi, I'm supposed to be in my 7.5 wks but the scan today shows that my gestational age is 5wks. The thing that worries me is that the gestational sac is there but no yolk sac or fetus pole is seen during the Vscan. I'm due for another scan next Friday and hopefully I can see the yolk sac & the fetus pole. I would like to know if anyone of you have had such experience before and later it developed into a full term baby. Really appreciate your feedback on this. LuthAdel |

LuthAdel Ever heard of my fren whom had been thru this and the next scan she went the wk after there is only the sac. The fetus not there. So got to go for D/C cuz the baby stop growing. Not to worry... sometimes just delay a bit.. when i was in my 6 weeks of pregnancy.. the doc scan for me, he said he onli see the water bags but no baby inside.. supposely should be able to see the baby... That stupid doctor straight away claim that i have a miscarriage... to play safe ask me to rest on bed for a week.. so a week later i went to a proper gynae to scan again, this time i saw the bb liao.... doctor said sometimes it delays because at my 7 weeks, the bb is about 5 weeks growth... so not to worry.... it will show up... Jia you. |

Hi LuthAdel, I cant tell u not to worry because if it was I, I WILL definitely be worried. Cant control. But maybe u should pray about it, (if u have a belief) and try ur very best to rest and relax. Talk to ur bb and ask him/her to be strong.. even though at this point scientifically he or she is barely formed... but u'll never know. Take care and will pray fr u. Keep us update. God blesss. |
