When I was expecting, I was "almost symptom-less." I went for my 1st clinic pregnancy test because I my menses did not come and did the test at about 2 or 3 weeks after my expected menses date was passed. I didn't even try the home test kit because I thot the clinic lab test would be more reliable and cheaper (because I had the staff medical benefit. Turned out it was not cheaper than the home test kit... sigh). I only suspected pregnancy because we had been trying for a baby for about 7 months (after 8 years of marriage). The only obvious symptom that I had in the 1st trimester was that I was feeling more tired than usual. I had no morning sickness, no food cravings/allergy, nothing... My tummy also did not bulge that much until the 5 month. Nobody knew I was pregnant until I told them. My mood was also not affected.
When the 1st lab pregnancy test came out positive, I was still quite cool about it. Didn't show much emotion -- and the GP didn't even congratulate me! She even asked me: "Are you married"???? I did my 1st ultrasound scan at gestation week 8 and baby heartbeat was detected.
Are you having any symptoms? To be sure, just go for a quick test. All the best. dont't worry and dont't think too much. Hope to hear your good news soon... Take good care.
