baby's blood cord

i'm wondering any mummy or daddy store baby's blood cord??

if so how much are you paying every year or what the package like?

i'll be storing my baby cordblood at cordlife.

One time payment of $1,400* upon registration

and

Annual storage fee of $250 (payable from 2nd year onwards)

ya,its gd to store.me also intend to store when my ds was born,bt was told my ds cord blood was too little as they need certain amount to have enough for a bag etc.....so end up didn't get to store it.

I banked my dd cord blood with STEMCORD. During that year, there is a Mother's Day promo hence I only paid $450 for registration. Thereafter, paid $250 each year for storage. That is the reason I chose STEMCORD over CORDLIFE.

Subsequently I didn't bank for my ds because the registration fee is too high at 1.4K.

hmmm, i'm not very sure abt this, still tryin to find out more on this.. if i'm not wrong i tink the blood cord can help us too.. dun tink only benefit on siblings...

i stored my 2nd bb's with stemcord. $630 for enrolment (babycare festival) and $250 per annual. for me, i treat it as another insurance for the whole family as we may need it if needs arise. who knows what will happen...
wanted to store for my 1st bb too but at that time, this cord blood storing thing is still new and before i have the chance to talk to my gynae about it...my bb popped out the next day.

how come cord blood will get contaminated? i the our gynae will pass the cord blood directly to e person in charge..
anyway 2 prevent it??
