Hi all mummy,
Any of yr having this problem? can't control bladder after giving birth?
Need to rush to toilet very soon after drinks?
I think is becos i never look after my body during confinment period... That y having this problem.. Hai...
I'm mother of a 15month gal..
i dont have tis prob after giving birth.
I think 1 pt that irene had say is never look after the body well n 2nd maybe after given birth the bladder muscle need sometimes 2 recover...
I had this problem during my confinement, but on the third month when I go back to work, gets better. Maybe you want to see your gynae about this ?
ya, will find my gynae next year.. thank..
Welcome. Hope you recover fast.
irene hope you all the best..
i also have tis kind of problem also as i am pregnant i can't laugh too hard if not i will have leaking of urine now also scare to laugh .
actualli when i went to gynae after delivery for check up, he reminded me to do kegel exercises to prevent urine leakage in future...
he said for those who deliver natualli, very prone to urine leakage...so once e stitches recover, he will recommend that you do kegal exercises...it is like you tighten n relax e muscle that controls your urine....
do quick 'tighten n relax' for at least 1 minute...then do slow ones for at least 5 minutes for starters...do as often as you can...while sitting in MRT...in office....while breastfeeding, etc etc....anytime, any place
Empty vessels make the most noise
I face this problem during pregnancy and after delivery of my dear son. Had to keep doing the kegal exercise like what stonson mentioned to tighten the muscles. Otherwise you'll find it very diffcult to control your bladder.
I think only prone to those who gave birth naturally right??
Ya, cos being stretch for atleast 10cm.. although i will recover but not fully loh.. so need to look after yrself once give birth and also do the kegal exercise which stonston mentioned..
My daughter now 16mth .. me having this problem but better now.. thank for everybody advises..
dat y w r told to sit down when we DRINK.............during confinement.
i had a normal assisted delivery and this problem too.. nothing to do with confinement but need time and exercise to build up your body again.. now it's just my 2nd month plus after birth.. it seems like taking forever for my wound to heal too.. haizz
has anyone mentioned kegel exercise? practise the kegel exercise daily, its will help strength the pelvis muscle, thus resulting in tighter vaginal muscles and helps prevent urine incontinence..
yes agree with Amulet, and read from a mag that you need to do a MINIMUM of 100-150 times a day for it to be effective.
I guess i'm not alone....who can't control my bladder.Even sumtime when coughing or laughing out loud...sumtime get so fed-up....but i now i feel better after a few session of 'after post-natal massage'. So far so good.
