    Is this consider normal?

    my sister recently went for early scan as she was missing her period for a month.
    She suspected pregnancy, the ultrasound came out as below, she would not talk much details..

    I reserched online that yoke sack shoule be visible, but I did not see any..

    Hi, did the gynae say how many weeks your sis is in? For my case, I went for scanning at about week 5+.. cant see at all. the gynae had to use the viginal scan thing, go in from below to scan for the sac. but still manage to find it in the end.. but took quite some time to locate the sac. perhaps you can ask her go back to the clinic to scan in another 2 weeks time. its still too early to be detected thru the normal ultra scan machine.

    Sometime when the preggy is too early... it cannot be seem.. till a bit later .. maybe 1 more month later then can see...

    you mentioned your sis won't give more details. why??

    scans should be interpreted by professionals. like what other mummies say, wait for a few more weeks and redo the scan. if the scan is still inconclusive, she can try to seek second opinion by seeing another gynae.
