Even so, are you aware that the amount of cord blood harvested is sufficient for use only on a little baby?
What the private banks also wun tell you is that after a certain point, you are really paying to store something you no longer have any practical use for.
They dont tell you this becoz it is this much needed money from you that goes towards financing their research ... towards delivering what they tell you about "we never know what the future technology can be like".
If you are wondering why they dont harvest more cord blood then, it's becoz it becomes a risk to you (the mummy) when the placenta is still not removed from inside you after a certain period of time ... yes, cord blood is harvested after they have brought out your baby & before they bring out the placenta.
What about me?
Well, we decided to build up the good karma for both my sons ... we donated the harvested cord blood to the public bank, in both cases.
