EDD changes?

Has anyone experienced changes of EDD during mid or late pregnancy?
How many days/weeks difference?

My gynae told me that the first ultra-scan is always the most accurate. Cos the 3rd time i went for check-up my EDD increase 5 days. But after that went back to normal. So gyane told me not to worry.

The scan indicates 3 days earlier or something.

She never say anything, the date is stated on the picture thing.

Mine also got changes, but my gynae said the EDD during first scan is more accurate. dont't worry dear...

During my first scan..My EDD was the 27th November...Subsequent two visits showed the date earlier by about 3 days..But the last 2 visits,my EDD stuck to 27th November..So my gynae confirmed to take that as my EDD.. Coincidentally it will be on Hari Raya Haji..Me and hubby feel soo blessed..

i think EDD is really a rough gauge. In fact only 5% babies are born on EDD!
As long baby is healthy and full term, dont worry about the few days difference!

mine changed when i went for 3rd check up, my EDD pushed a week earlier and we did stick to the new EDD ever since.

Hi,

my first scan showed late end Jan, then 2nd scan my edd is brought fwd by 2 days then 3rd scan showed that my edd is brought fwd to 3 days earlier than the 2nd day...

Is it my baby grow faster thus the edd keeps changing ? hee...

Went to my gyane and my baby was still not engaged thus mine was 5 days late. My gynae had an estimation of when the baby had to be out & meanwhile during the waiting to monitor if i have any signs of labour.

I left it in the capable hands of my gynae and thus mine was induced labour, natural birth

During the first 4 months of scanning and up till the 5th month detailed scanning,my EDD has always been the 27th Nov..But 3 days ago,i went for my supposedly 6th month (24weeks checkup) and gynae says according to my baby's weight,my EDD has now changed to 18 Nov..So is it true that EDD changes due to baby's growth..??

Usually the EDD given from the first scan is most accurate. Babies grow at different rate during different stages. My dear daughter put on only 100g between 34 weeks 6 days and 37 weeks -_-''

I feel that it's prefectly normal. My EDD was never the same every visit to the gynae. They'll stick to the 1st date. As mentioned, it's just a rough guide n if you notice on yr ultrasound, the EDD is + - 10 days. The gynae is able to determine the growth of our baby inside n will make sure they r well grown before allowing them to come n meet us in tis world. Unless in the event of unforeseen circumstances .

Not sure about baby's weight as my changed in EDD was not based on that but whether baby was engaged & if cervix was open
