Did anyone hear or read of this before?? I come across some baby book and they say that if the heartbeat of the baby is > 140 is a gal and if <140 is a boy...i dont know how true this is...would like mummies and daddies here to prove is true or just a myth.
I went for my checkup yesterday the baby heartbeat is 152..but still cant see the gender of the baby...
when i went for detail scan, the doc say that the heartbeat of the baby is twice of an adult.. so should be around 170. baby heartbeat less than 140 will consider not so good ..
my gyane also let me hear the heartbeat of my baby everytime. And its very loud till ppl outside waiting also can hear.
When i was 12 weeks, gynae let me hear my baby's heartbeat..Was told that it was about 160..During my last visit at 15 weeks, gynae told me that i might be expecting a boy coz baby was sitting cross-legged at that time and gynae could already see "something sticking out" down there..
So the myth that <140 is a boy is NOT true for me..
everytime i went for checkup, gynae will let me hear heartbeat and tell me the beat rate per min. mine is around 167 beat per min... last checkup gynae told me most likely i might be having a baby gal coz centre of legs there flat.. can only cfm by next month on the 10th for detailed scanning
Hi Mummies, I got a myth, look at yr FIRST ultra scan, if yr sac is a long one, you may be having a boy, if yr sac is a round one, you may be have a gal, mine quite true for this. Share with all the mummies...
Not true for me. My baby's heartbeat was 160 and it's a boy.
mine boys his heart beat is always above the range 150-160. even such, there are many times it goes all the way up to 180 freaked me like shit. But, after the observation in the ward their heart beat went down to 158-164
