Gave birth to my ds at TMC..stayed in the 2 bedded room..nurses are all very helpful n had good attitudes..as for my gynae, he will alwaiz explain everythin in detail...

for me, I think the stay at KKH is pleasant!

not as bad as some of the ladies said.

only during my 1st pregnancy, this very senior nurse who thought that my contractions are not that intense & decided to ignore me when I told her I'm in pain.

other than that, the gyane & nurses during my stay are really nice

i did mine at NUH. Docs r cool.. nurses at labor ward was superb. buts docs r like running here n there.. very busy..only thing to complain is got trainess down ther so many eyes on u.. like tt time i gave birth already, this doc supposed too stitch me up was 'teaching the trainess how to stitch.. n they were like talking.. so it was a slow job.. n helloo!!! im in pain cos the epidural was lowered already.. other than tt, ok lor.. hopefully, nex one same pleasant experience cos i think very impt for nurses n docs to be friendly since we r in severe pain.. we need comfort..

My two gals was delivered at TMC stayed in the 1 bedded room
Comfortable evironment. Staff r courteous, nice n attentive....
Nice confinement soup they served....

I delivered my boy in Mt E. Dh stayed with us for the first 2 nights, foodwise quite delicious as I can choose what I like and come with confinement soup.

The ward I am in was very pro-bfg in fact the staff nurse and the lc had been coming into my room quite frequently to help me to get my boy to suckle since bb is premature but with good weight.

And they also loan me the pump for the days I stayed there. The nurses were very caring and it is nice to occupy a single bed ward which gave me lots of rest.

I had my bb at KKH too but i feel that the doctors and nurses that i encountered are quite friendly and nice. I did not opt for specialist, i just took whoever is on duty.. i tink it is more of a heng suay thing.
Only thing the confinement food is just okay only..

Delivered my 1st bb at the old KKH, experience is good then my gynae turned into private practice followed him and delivered my 2nd one at Mt.E, good facilities but atmosphere is like very commercialize and expensive cuz of additionals d hosp charges, so now for my 3rd, we went for ward tour at Mt.A, we felt at home immediately cuz all the staffs are warm and very friendly always genuinely smiling and ready to help so, will most likely deliver at Mt.A.

omg, i've chose KKH to be the hospital im gonna deliver leh. im 29weeks now. is it possible for me to change to another hospital now?? is it too late??

I also had a bad experience with KKH. My gynae was ok for me. But When I try to deleiver baby in normal way, there way around 10 people around me( 1 doctor & 9 trainees). All put their hands inside & checked how much my cervix is dilated. They say it is training . Actually I was under pain & suffering.
I was frustrayed at that time.

Nurses... I have experience with very good as well as rude nurses there. What ever I need, I always get helps from Duty concious nurses ( old- experienced nurses). they were really kind to me...

I delivered at Mt A. Overall experience was good. The nurses there are very nice. They are very pro BF. The nurses are very encouraging when come to BF. I went thru caesarian, was very painful for me to move about, the nurses help me alot when I BF my son. will sure to go back there again for my #2 (still trying for #2).

I gave birth at KKH. My gynae very patient and gentle. He explained things very clearly and I do not hv any feeling of him showing me out of the room. The nurses there also very friendly. Guess the main reason for good service is because it is at TPS.

As also being a subsized patient recently at KKH, the waiting time is long and there would be trainees around sometimes. Cannot complain coz as a subsized patient, we can't do much. I do find the service is good. I wrote in to ask if I can just simply walk off after seeing the doctor as I find the waiting time to pay the bill is long. I request to pay online. They agreed. Think they really improved a lot.
