    Dear mtbs/mummies,

Do you keep track of your weight gained? Id so, you track your weight gained for each trimester, monthly, weekly or after each visit to your gynae?

For mtbs: do you keep track of it and record it down and how is your weight gained so far?

Mummies: How do you track it if you did track the weight that you had gained when you r pregnant? What is the healthy range of weight gained for each trimester and for the whole pregnancy? Do advise...thanks!!

For me, i m currently in my 18 wks of pregnancy and I have gained 3.8kg(as weighed this morning before food) hee...

    Thanks you all! =)

when i was preggie i did track my weight gain. i gained 12kg in all. healthy weight gain throughout preg is between 10-15kg. i weighed every morning just to make sure that i am not losing weight. coz i was slightly underweight before preggie so i was monitoring my weight very closely to make sure that i was gaining.

During my first trimester I didn't gain weight at all. But there is nothing wrong if you lose/gain weight during the period as you can get morning sickness, nausea which can lead to poor appetite.

But everytime I go for my gynae visits they will check your weight. Other than that I did not go and track how much weight I gain.

I think you will gain the most weight in your 3rd trimester? That was the time when I suddenly 5-6kg.

Throughout my whole pregnant I think I gained less than 10kg

Re: Keeping track of your weight gain

Thru out my preg, i've gained 13kg. Most of my weight was gain in T2 instead of T3.. B'cos of the gain in T2, gynae sent me for good test & true enough, i was diagnosed with good. Thus i watched my diet & didn't gain too much in T3.

You can keep track for yr ref but if there's anything serious, gynae will be the one to warn you. so, dont't worry.... It's more of a preference to keep track or not.

hmmm, i never really track. just each time went for check up then take note of my weight gain.
if i rmb correctly, normal weight gain thru out the pregnancy shld be about 10-12 kgs.
for me i gained about 9 kgs.

    pre preg- about 50 kgs.
    first three months lost 3 kgs= 47kg.
    one day before delivery= 56.7kgs.

    you can try this link.
