    Leaving for hospital

    Hi dear mummies to be,

Something to share with you.... if your delivery date is approaching

    Leaving for the Hospital

As your due date approaches, you should plan the route from your home to the hospital. You should also take note of peak hour traffic, the distance from your home to the hospital, as well as, alternative routes to take. Other factors to consider including roping in your close relative, mother or best friend should your husband be away during this crucial period and making alternative arrangements for transportation to the hospital should your assigned driver (usually husband) be unavailable. It is very easy to forget any plans you have made about making that all important trip to the hospital when you are in the throes of excitement, pain and panic. So try your best to keep cool and keep distress at bay as it can affect your labour pains.

    Re: Leaving for hospital

Especially to those who will be delivering at Thomson Medical Center, traffic can be a killer at peak hours. Although my labor was induced, my hubby was stuck at the PIE exit for almost half an hour the morning I was supposed to go down to the delivery ward. For those who are on the way and already in labor, the period stuck in the jam can be quite tormenting.
