This might seem like a stupid question, but I'm sure I'm not the only one to consider it.
Mummy and daddy to be did a ward tour of KK a couple of weeks ago, with a brief over of the package costs for TPS B1. Maybe I'm missing something (or just inexperienced) but for $3700 including GST for a normal delivery 2 day stay including everything that they list, I'm wondering if wouldn't it just be better to pay-as-you-go (or pay-as-you-use ;-)). I know that you may need some or even all the package items (and I'm sure you could supply some of these yourself) , but does a package really provide any type of discount or saving, as I would expect it should.
Also, as I'm sure you already know, this price does not include the gynaes professional fee for delivery, which is an additional $800-$950 depending on seniority.
So, Id be interested to hear of anyone's experience who didn't take a package at KK or any other hospital.
