    PR status for newborn baby

It would be a great help if anyone here has any info about the below matter or know anyone in similar situation and how they dealt with it:
Me and my hubby are having PR status..Is there an added advantage to get PR for the baby if I deliver in Singapore than other country?
I understand that if I deliver here, after registering birth and receiving passport, I can apply for PR for my baby. I called ICA to confirm the above procedure and they said it might take even 6 months or so.
I am contemplating what if the PR application is rejected.

Re: PR status for newborn baby

    Hi Mummy,
You have to register your baby's citizenship (your own country) in the embassy to obtain a passport. and register birth @ the hospital / ICA .
in order for your baby to stay in singapore, you will need to visit to ICA to obtain a valid stay in Sg.
meanwhile, you may proceed to apply PR for your baby. while waiting for PR's status. You may also apply long term visit pass for the baby.

    hope it's help~!
