depends on what you want.
for your kids to play together = close age gap
to have sufficient time for both your kids = wide age gap

Prefer 2 to 3 years but now our is 5 going on to 6 years gap..

Hopefully when everything settle down nicely.. #2 shall estimate arrive in 2009.. which is 7 years gap.. =)

In my view.. I wished for the best for my kid.. now Hubby & I are both working hard for our future, we have little time for Skye & ourselves.. Thus is still not the time #2 shall come.. for teaching kid nowaday is no longer easy.. If I'm unable to teach 1 kid the right way & path, I dont think I can for another.. =)

for me n husband ideal is 1-2yrs....but now aiming for 2 yrs cos we dont want yr-end baby.....
we dont wanna drag too long....e earlier e older one has a sibling, e earlier he learns more social skills cos gotta learn to share n show concern for e younger one
dont want to be @ e age where all he feels is jealousy then intro a new sibling to him....seen my couz with kids age gap around 5-7 yrs, all had big problems....

this reason is more valid that reasons of 'If i am unable to give my kid the BEST in life, I dont think I can for another.'

I think this again gotta do with family bring up... my elder sis is 1978, 2nd sis 1979, me 1986 and younger sis 1992... all of us is kinda close but elder sis & 2nd sis might have conflicts at time.. doesn't mean 1 yr apart = good..

I got no probs with all of them.. althrough @ time, we might have a little disagreement but seldom.. elder sis & younger sis age gap is 14 yrs but nope.. they do not have big probs.. =D

xx big prob not in terms of behaviour towards each other....got many other hidden probs in daily life....

i prefer 2-3 years... after my first child know how to walk and talk reasonably well... then she can be my little helper like ask her help me get diapers etc for her baby sibling hehehehe...
main reason is also because... giving birth is so painful!!!! maybe we will plan for another baby after i 'forget' the pain

I would prefer their age difference to be 2 years. So, plan about a year from your 1st baby's birth.

me n my dear husband's ideal is 3-5 yrs... as i have already placed an IUD car Meranda... As what i tink is that when dear son is about that age, he can help to take care of e younger sibling...

parenting is really a journey... we all learn along the way. As each kid comes, we learn more skills and approaches as needed. If I had stopped just because I thought I wasn't doing a good job with the first kid, I'd have missed out on a lot of happiness and love. Plus its good to remember that we can only guide and give advice... we can't live their lives for them. Free choice is still very much a part of life!

2-3 years old gap is just nice. Currently stop at 1 cos in Taiwan now and I rather give birth in Singapore when back in 2009.

For us, was like 2-3 years but not it looks like at least 4 years apart as we are ttcing. Hope baby will come soon.
