I'm 28 weeks pregnant now and am having some complications- have been bleeding/spotting for about a month now.
Basically what my gynea told me is that the bleeding could be due to the low lying placenta.
We are worried that the baby will be born prematurely which would incur heavy hospital bill.
How can we switch from our current gynea to a subsidized one at a public hospital (Kandang Kerbau Hospital?) and is it advisable to do so?
what is the difference with going to polyclinic to get referral and getting appointment directly from hospital like singapore general hospital and Kandang Kerbau Hospital?
getting appointment directly with Kandang Kerbau Hospital and singapore general hospital they will charge you under private patient.
if its not convenient for you, you can just go to any nearby family clinic (not gynae) to get referral. just walk in to the family clinic, register as any regular patient seeing doctor and tell doctor you need a referral.
If you want Gov subsides cant choose any doc ..
If go GP, might be considered as private rate. Call Kandang Kerbau Hospital to ask.
Hi I have checked. Go gp will still be private rates. So most likely I go singapore general hospital direct for dr tay.
