Gyane never give me a answer whether when will i give birth But i start to experience contractions since last week , he said it is signs of baby coming so all i have to do is wait , for vaginal pain ( i felt like cervix pain ) i also felt them since 37 weeks but that time i am only 1 cm dilated , this week check up also 1 cm dilated so i think is thinning of cervix not dilated My edd just few days away but it seems like i will be overdue like this dont't really have other signs already .. Oh yes , baby is seriously too active , she could kick my rib & wake me up in the night until i sayang her , sleepless night ~ sigh !
I dont know if what I'm feeling is contractions but think it is braxton hicks coz my tummy tends to harden up frequently and my tummy became as hard as a rock. I got menstrual like pain but mild one I think. I feel alittle dizzy sometimes too, mostly in the afternoon. My gal is also getting more active . Can see her movements even though my tmmy is covered under my blouse.
Previously, I only can see such obvious movements when I observe my tummy closely. Try to do some suitable squat exercise and i think will help your cervix to dilate
hope our baby will no. Be overdue but greet this world without giving us too much prob
let's count down to the days when we will see our baby!
oh no!! i'm really worried. I'm at 30 weeks now and I have gained 13.5kg so far. My gynae say my bld pressure is normal,a little on the low end but ok, tested negative for diabetes, so he doesn't care about my weight. But isn't it really dangerous to gain so much, means baby will be fat fat? My appetite is a little too good even though i got quite bad heartburn. my tummy doesn't look too big, but my arms/thighs/backside is horridly huge.
Anyone here manage to slow down weight gain? at this rate i'm going i will gain 20+kg in all by full term, how to gain less weight ? HELP!!
To gain wt doesn't means all the wt goes to you. Some to baby, placenta, uterus etc..not to worry so much but in order to try to slow wt gained try not to tait food high in sugar like durians, sweeten drinks etc.. Having big arms is good for mummies who wanna breastfeed.. you should be quite sure milk flow will be plentiful. Learn this when I go for my antenatal class.. dont know how true but no harm believing it now
wishing you a safe, healthy n smooth labour in time to come
thanks. i the vain vain kind, so get quite upset when ppl say i fat, and really afraid of later on how to lose weight, and just today i feel my maternity clothes are tight!! need to buy new ones at week 30!
is it really true? arms big good for BS ? yes i wanna breastfeed, and i really hope i can for a long time , i gained 2 cup size already! i also really hope baby not too big, or else next time will risk obesity.
Give you a tip to regulate milk flow. Latch your baby and express your
ilk regularly n it will stimulate your brain to produce more milk.. Think latching helps mummy to lose wt I think
dont buy anymore maternity clthings unless they r those you can wear after you deliver. . Tips: buy those stretchBle material clothings that r long enuff. They helps to see you thru you whole pregancy..
im already back to my pre-pregnancy weight!
but tummy still abit fats hehe
Wah I already gained so much and it's only beginning of third tri. Sounds like slimming center and gym will be in the agenda
I gained very little weight at the 1st trimester, currently, total weight gain of about 7-8kg. but feel as if tummy is quite small for someone who is in the third trimester.
Yeah not use to the sight of flabby arms and thighs...... The most important thing now is not to go on diet, as your baby would still need nutrients in your stomach. Doctor is worried that my baby is slightly on the lower average weight. So been forcing myself to eat more. Eat more nutritious stuff like wholemeal bread/rice instead of white bread/rice and stuff, it'll help in weight control (not so much processed sugar and such) plus give you more nutrients than white bread/rice by itself.
dont't worry the moment breastfeeding also help in weight loss. At least that's what I had read.=p
Wa shiyi so fast back to pre-preg weight ?
I never dare to weigh myself , plus at home i dont't have a weighing machine , giving myself a period of time around confinement finish then see how much weight i lost , excited but still quite anxious
hahah just eat healthily. Eat more fruits and vegs. Try to avoid fried stuff, maybe you can opt for more soups, steam meat and fish, that way at least have nutrients plus wouldn't gain too much weight?
You tried exercising? like walking and swimming? i try to make it a point to go for walks everyday, and climb overhead bridge at times. Because my mom when she gave birth to me, only went into labour for 1-2 hours , she say might be because that time everyday she went to work had to walk uphill. And I'm her first child (I heard usually first child take slightly longer time)
