does anyone know where is the best place to get the maclaren XT/XLR ?
i bought mine at Baby Hypermart at Shun Li Industrial in Kaki Bukit
can get during robinsons 20% sale cos cheaper
else can get from baby hypermart during then too cos they usually will give you the same offer as robinsons if you ask them then (i asked them before but end up buying from robinsons cos did not want to make the trip to ubi)...
This is becoz Hypermart is the distributor for MacLaren (as well as Quinny & Peg Perego strollers) ... if you are familiar with their set-up & say you are a repeat customer, you can always try asking for their 20% discount ... dont have to wait until Robinson's sale.Originally Posted by serenelm
I actually have a Techno XT (grey colour of 07 season), which I am trying to sell ... along with 2 MacLaren original accessories: an organiser (for stuffing your milk bottles, diapers & what not) & a carrier bag (for packing the stroller away or as check-in luggage).Originally Posted by enhanzed
IMHO, it's still the most user-friendly yet most rugged & safest stroller I know ... but becoz of the closeness in age between my 2 boys, I upgraded to a Phil&Teds 3-wheeler which can seat both my boys at the same time.
To be precise, the Techno XT was only in use between May 07 & Aug 08 ... so it's still in pretty good working condition.
If you are interested, do PM me with your email address ... I'll send a couple of pics over to you, before we discuss the price.
thanks for all the replies ...i went down to baby hypermart and blew $838 on a stroller cum car seat ... the brand is inglesina zippy ...anyone has used this brand before ?
IMHO, any one of the European brand strollers you get from Hypermart is well worth your money ... simply becoz of the high safety standards that is demanded in those markets.Originally Posted by enhanzed
If you drive a MPV type of big car with big boot, then buying the Peg Peregoes or the Inglesinas shouldn't be a problem ... but for those limited by small bootspace (like me), Quinny Zapp or any of the MacLarens would be the choice.
Which car seat you bought? Maxi Cosi? Cabrio or Priori?
the car seat came as a package with the stroller ... the brand is also inglesina i tink
OIC ... thanks.Originally Posted by enhanzed
On another issue, if you are also a papa like myself, you may wanna consider dropping Admin-Ed a PM requesting yourself to be reflected as "Alpha Male".

You can try this shop at People Park, look for Winnie. I bought my Maclanren Quest Sport from them. Cheaper than the shopping outlet plus got delivery.
