he's an excellent doctor with 20 years experience.
However, husband and i didn't like that we have to wait so long to see him but our consultations usually dont't last 5 minutes. When we were first time parents and had afew questions to ask him, he got impatient and brushed our questions aside. It left a bad impression on us. DR Ang's charges are also alot cheaper than most gynaes. As more mommies go to him, his consultation period gets shorter and shorter.
In the end, I miscarried the pregnancy at almost 4 months. And Dr Ang was not emphathetic at all. As usual, he rushed through our consultation and probed me to set a d&C date immediately. He may have seen many miscarriages in his line of work but thats no excuse to be a robot about the matter.
My advice, if you are the sort of first time parents who is more kancheong than the rest kind (like me!), then i suggest you give Dr Ang a skip. There are many other doctors with 20 yrs experience (or more) in Singapore who probably prefers to spend quality time answering your questions in an assuring manner. But the down side is, you probably have to pay more too! lol
So you decide, cheap and fast = unassured fears
or expensive and long = all fears assured
