Does anybody knows his operating hours? And does he only deliver at Thomson Medical Center or are there other hospitals?
OMG! in 4 wks times i gonna be in the hands of Dr Tham! i'm so excited to see my baby..
ts great to know that Dr Tham is well-liked ^^
Thumbs up for him too. Nice guy, gentle, and always willingly to explain..... (ONLY stern warning from him ~ DIET DIET DIET)
Hi gals, What is his waiting time for his appointment? I just found out I'm pregnant n feel like gg to see him after seeing so much good reviews.. What to ask during first consultation? Sorry to ask too many questions..
I also did not have to wait too long for him, usually not more than 30min too. If you have any questions in mind, you can ask him. I always bomb him with questions I thought of before my appointment. I have a habit of jotting them down coz my memory isn't that good.
has anyone visited him for gynae checks since he left kk & opened his new practice? i wonder what his charges are like as compared to when he was @ kk?
hope somehow can i advise as i've the impression Thomson Medical Center is more ex & some not so good reviews on Thomson Medical Center too
My 1st consultation was $80 + $20 for ultrascan and $5 for urine test. But I did blood test and all my vitamins. So my bill was rather expensive. Cos I only visited my gynae at week 17. :x
My weight now 58kg but baaby is 2.7kg @ 35wks+3
He did for me the 3D ultrascan, and can see my darling head BIG BIG! then Dr Tham also says her waistline big (like her dad)..
Dr Tham provides Softcopy for all scans (so remember bring thumb drive along).
He really is like a fatherly figure to me .. haha.
Best of all, i went for last min CTG (coz baby did not move in d morning), then he manage to slot me in the tight schedule... and his advises is clear and precise
furbee, we share the same gynae as well (both of us EDD are in April'11).
ya, Dr Tham is nice. but did he ask you all to go on diet as well? haha. he's always very concerned on my wt gain, my baby's wt gain, her headsize etc. initially i thought cos i'm small built, and happened to have gestational diabetes so he's particularly concerned about the weight gain and size etc. but later i realised, he just dont prefer mummies to have big babies so that the labour will be easier.. haha.
i like him very much. there was once, i cried in front of him during the scans cos at week 29, my baby girl gave me a heart attack as she didnt move for the whole morning.. ended up, during the scan that dr tham slotted me in, we saw her kicking away.. just that i couldnt feel her that day haha. so actually dr tham wanted to "scold" me for counted her kicks so early (should start counting only from week 32 onwards), but after seeing me being so emotional, he ended up consoling me hahaha.
monitor contractions, and also manually press a button when got movement...
for me i also went in when she never kick the whole morning, coz the previous nite she never stop kicking for more than 4 hours(scare umbilical cord around her neck then she struggle).. =.="" coz scans cant see.
hehe, joanne.. maybe we even seen each other before .. ^^ remember let me know hows the stitching skills
I will be taking GTT on the 21st apr. 2hrs of doing nth!
