Hi Ladies!! Any review on Dr Lubna Harharah? I thought of taking her for my 2nd pregnancy.
hi adlin & siti,
my recommendation is dr. lucky tung lan, at Parkway easy hospital. she's known as "the queen of maternity".
she soooooooo patient, relax & so caring like own mother. her clinic is just at the end of the corridor, same level as dr. lubna harharah.
Hi! Any reviews on Dr Lubna?
hello, any reviews on Dr. Lubna?? i have a first appointment with her next friday, trying to get more reviews on her first..
She delivered my baby. So far, everything is okay.. Just that, I find her charges (consultation+delivery) is really expensive. And the waiting time is really terrible.. I've always waited for at least 45mins for her, although I came in on time. Only twice, I get to see her early. And Not all scanning I get a printed copy.
But she's really pretty, listen to your complains, and I think she's really young. But I won't say shes really experienced.

How come The delivery charges are $2.5k++? I thought her delivery charges are $1.5k -2k only??[/QUOTE]
I think after you add up GST? And it's normal delivery..
My bad. I remembered wrongly. It's from 1.5k onwards..
Hmmm 2.5k++ seems exp?
Hi Shanney.. Haha.. But I'll just double check again and get back to you. If im not wrong, it's 2.5K. Like I say, she's really expensive.
Thanks QLatefah. I think the charges are pretty much the same everywhere. Just to check, after deducting Medisave, how much cash did you fork out eventually for the delivery? Oh ya, how was it for you? If you dont't mind sharing - normal delivery, assisted normal delivery or c-sect?
but, if you delivered on weekend, public holiday or after office hour, then there's gonna be a surcharge around $300 (if im not mistaken)
after delivered she will visit you and the charge will be $120/visit but if she have to visit you after hour, public holiday or weekend there will be another $40 surcharge...
if you decide to delivered not in parkway hospital then there will be surcharge $400 for delivery and +$40 for visit (160/visit)... if you want to make sure, you can check with the nurse there, they will provide you with this info...
for charge per visit maybe around $100-150 pervisit, but im taking the package fr 16 weeks to delivery (around 40 weeks).. $650 (for around 11 visit including scan, not include medication) but the package also doesnt include detail scan on your 20-24 weeks. you have to do the scan with dr lubna partner dr chee which will cost you around 350 (if im not mistaken)
hope this could help...
@Qlatefah : how was your delivery experience with her? is she encourgaed initial breasfeed after birth?
hi little5, the detailed scan at week 20 is around $200 (if i remember correctly).
were you at the clinic yday?? i was there too! from 11+ till 2+
i waited till 12+ to see the doc.. had to be put on ctg to monitor for contractions thats why i was there so long..
btw, if you signed a package w dr lubna, but was charged $90 to see dr chee during the week20 scan, you can tell the nurses at dr lubna clinic, they will arrange with dr chee's nurses to refund you. coz my hubby asked why he was charged $90, instead of $50 as indicated by the nurses at dr lubna's.
hmm i havent thought about that, the thing is i signed for package after dr chee scan because they said i was already late anyway for the package (im seeing her on my 18+weeks i guess) but i'll try to asked if the refund is possible... thankss for the tips
are you going to be delivered on parkway? when is your edd?
Hi everyone! Im currently at 32 weeks and have been seeing dr lubna. I usually see her on saturdays and have no problem in being able to see her on time. She prints quite a lot of the scanning photos for us. And even takes the effort to get a nice good scan photo of the baby.
Hi ladies! I saw Dr. Lubna during my pregnancy and delivery Feb of this year. I have to say out of a lot of doctors that were recommended to me I enjoyed my experience with her. I had a very difficult pregnancy. Almost every complication in the book! From sever vomiting to pre term labour contractions at 24 weeks. Although I had to pay for additional medication and hospitalizations through out my pregnancy her charges were very comfortable.
I did not have to wait long to see Dr Lubna and she is definitely not the touch and go type. I did not want to see a doctor for my first pregnancy that just glanced through notes, scanned and was done. She was very informative and gave great advice. Dr. Lubna was not pushy for certain test as in the end it is our decision.
Towards the end of my pregnancy Dr. Lubna informed me of a birth plan according to my estimated delivery. Of course she kept in mind things I wish to have and not have. I wanted to breast feed after delivery. However, I delivered early and had to have my baby checked by a pediatrician. Of course once he was fine I could breast feed. The delivery with her was amazing. She was not pushy and very polite even when all was done.
I also want to advise to look into the hospital you want to deliver in. Not all hospitals are the same. Some hospitals have certain packages. Each package you take up differs in board and stay, medication, or if your baby's nursery stay is included.
As some advice for you ladies...you have to remember she is a private doctor. Her rates will be higher then seeing a doctor at Kandang Kerbau Hospital. Every woman's pregnancy is different. However I feel the experience was wonderful and would take Dr. Lubna again for my next pregnancy!!!
Can you share your delivery costs pls? Thanks!
My charges were ($1,500) for normal delivery with of course her daily charges for a three day ($240 per day) stay which was one day more then what my packaged offered as my son had jaundice. of course these are her charges not my over all bill as i must pay for meds and hospital stay.
