    Smile First appointment at Polyclinic?

Anyone went for check ups at polyclinics? I'm wondering whether I should go for my first appointment (at 6 weeks) at one of the polyclinics instead of seeing a private gynae. Any advice or feedback ladies whether this is a good idea?

    Re: First appointment at Polyclinic?

It's really dependent on what you want ultimately. By going 2 polyclinic first n then referred 2 KK, you wld b a subsidized patient. you wld b able 2 save quite a fair bit if cost is a concern for you. There is no good or bad. It's really what you really want? If you decide 2 go polyclinic, i think you can continue your antenatal checkups there, n only goes KK 4 detailed scan or other relevant tests. D only thing you shld probably bear in mind is dat there is no dedicated doc, which is fine if your pregnancy is smooth. you may wanna go 4 "dedicated" doc if you think there is a need 4 a doc 2 monitor your pregnancy.

Hope d above helps. Congrats by the way
