First Time to be a mother !!!

Dear All,

Hi everyone.

First time pregnant, quite confused on what should I do .

I have seen the doctor to confirm my pregnancy...so what will be my next step?

Will there be a guide for new mother in singapore.. something like, what should i do in the first month , second month , 3rd month of pregnancy .. until the baby is delivered?

When to choose for hospital and Gynae.... to use medisave .... we have to apply for it or it will automatically charge from medisave?

Basically, i have zero knowledge on all this.

Congratulations! you can choose a gynae now, dun worry just relax, and be happy....just do what ur gynae tells u, will do. medisave, the hospital will settle everything for you, just sign the papers upon delivery.

I plan to choose KKH, any good gynae to recommend? will you fill embarass if the gynae is a male?

if u choose KKH, go for the private gynae... heard that more experienced and better services.

my gynae is based in Thomson Medical and i deliver there too. service is good and rates are reasonable.

my gynae is a female, more comfy and relax...

most impt, u must like your gynae and feel assured and have complete trust in him/her...

cos 2 lives on the gynae's hand!

For myself too, I chose a female gynae...bcoz i feel more comfortable...its up to you, most important is urself, you must feel comfortable with the gynae. My gynae is also in TMC. If you were to choose KKH, I also agree that you should go for Private.
