As for choice of hospital, you might want to refer to other thread here... Seems like Thomson Medical Center wasn't as popular as before. If you or your hubby drive, parking is an issue.
For choice of male or female gynae, depends on your comfort level... I wasn't comfortable with male gynae hence I chosed female.
Actually, you might want to consider gynae who has clinic near your house n able to deliver at your choice of hospital. Then you will save a lot of travelling time. Consider the operating hours too. ACJ clinic operate till 7pm on weekday, half day on sat n close on sun... Hence most of my appt is during offy hr where I always have to be absent fm work.
I was first time mum too n did not do much homework at that time when deciding on gynae... N I did not approach any friends or relatives cause I do not want to disclose the news before I m 3 months pregnant.... Hence I only read thru the forum n decide. The able are some of my advises to you, hope it helps.
