Re: Massage after c-section

2 weeks after the operation, after doctor cleared your outer wound, stating tht it is ok already....

I did not know when I had emergency c-section tht time, I took 6 weeks. The massage lady told me two weeks should have the massage already but the massage lady was very nice, she said she will try her best to help me....

Re: Massage after c-section

I just had c-section and my massage lady recommend me to start massage 3 weeks after the operation. She said its not too early nor too late. Im in the midst of my massage and there's no pain at all around the wound. Wednesday is my last day of massage and i'm done with confinement.

I waited 6 weeks cos' I am afraid tht my internal wound may have not recover, so .....ya the massage lady at first did a trial for me, she say if I can loose weight by the next day means there is still hope....in the end I did, she came everyday and the binding tht she did for me was soooo sooo tight until cannot breath and plus I was BF so also very very hot, but thank God it was after confinement, so can bathe if not smelly

I think it is up to individual...when you want to do it, why not you do it after confinement, tht way if too hot you can bathe...

Will there be a possibility that the wound will tear if we had the massage 2weeks after c-sec?

I dont't think so, the massage lady said that they have the technique of massaging so won't affect the wound much......

But I think to better do after the confinement, cos' during, if you cannot bathe plus the binding, it is gg to be super hot.....

Heard that jamu will only be effective if you had it done within the 28days of your confinement. Wonder how true is that.

After your gynae approval, then go for post-natal massage.
