    4-month old trying to creep

Hi, does anyone of you have experience with a 4 month old baby trying to creep? Mine sticks his butt out and anchors his feet on the ground, before pushing his face across the mattress. Very ingenious but it breaks my heart to see him dragging his face (and sometimes with his eyes open too) on the mattress like that. Today, he just fell off the bed creeping one or two feet this way. His head is not stable on its own for us to put him in a walker yet and he is terribly hyperactive. Any advice from mommies?

Haha. My dear son has been doing that butt up thingy since dont know how old until now at times still doing! LOL. When he was 5mth+ coming 6mths, he learnt to flip.. So kinda dangerous flipping on bed as he can push and kick the pillows down.

So, I got him a bumper mat from minitoons and let him do that on the floor.. At least he won't fall off the bed. But one thing I find that the mat is kinda rough coz it has little bumps thruout the whole mat.. Like anti-slip mat material..

So far, he's still fine with it... Haha.
