I have made an arrangement of buying a baby secure sleeper so that my baby can actually sleep with me and of course to make things easy for me to feed him in the night. but then our bed is directly being blown by air conditioner, I am not sure if that is good for my baby skin or nose. Since I have clog nose lately and i think it is due from high air conditioning. Can anyone give me idea please.
have you tried asking your pedia? do still have a cold?
you should watch out, because your baby might get sick, too.
Take some suggestion from doctors whether AC is good for a baby or not.According to me for 1 year you should not use it.
Both my kids sleep with air con since birth.. So far no prob..
Blowing direct is not good.. can cause stuffy (blocked) nose easily. We also let boy sleep in air con room but not blown direct. I let him sleep in a sleeping bag now so it keeps him warm while letting him kick freely inside.. hehe..
my girl also sleeps in aircon. aircon can be drying for babies skin, my pediatrician recommended that we put a small bowl of water in the room (rationale is to give the air more moisture) so less drying for baby. We put the temperature between 24 to 25 degrees and she sleeps in 1 piece suits that covers her legs/toes.
dont blow directly at the baby, it is very uncomfy. even for adults.
try breathing in cold air thru your nose, will have like the brain freeze feeling when you drink drinks that r too cold.
maybe you wanna consider shifting your bed if it is possible or just on the AC for a few hours before bedtime to cool the room then on the fan.
