baby "burp" out a lot and very frequent

hi,

i need advise.. my 1 month plus old niece had been drink FM since birth and now she drinks 90ml every 2 1/2 - 3hr... but every time she finish her FM she will burp out her milk.. Quite a lot and quite a number of times.. what does this means?

my mother in law tried to feed her 3hrly or longer but she cannot ta han more than that... she will cry for milk..

is this normal?

try feeding 1/2 of the milk, stop to let baby burp first, then continue. sometimes too much air in their tummy, they just burp everything out

yup, agree. The lactation consultant also taught me to burp baby before the feed to try to remove some air in the tummy first.

we actually try this methopd too but dont work.. do she need to go to the specialist??

if she's putting on weight and doesn't seem in pain, you dont't really have to take her to a specialist.

you may want o ask the doc tho when she goes for her jabs.
