    hallo..mummy,can share your ways to train your baby self settling? my gal is 4mths .i try to not let her sleep in yao lan at day time,so everytime need to carry n pat pat her till sleep.very tiring huh.. i heard about the cry out method.is it works? btw,i afraid baby cry till lost voice,how??

    Well for me I pat my no. 1 to sleep unitil she's 1yo.. She starts self settling at 1 yo +. This is what I did, I put her in between me and hubby on the bed.. Both of us chit chat until she falls asleep.. She feel safe with both of us around her and with us talking.. She knows we are awake and guarding by her sides.. This is my method, i know it sounds weird

    I think dear son (14 months) is starting to self settle. I usually feed him to sleep but the last two nights he was still awake so I put him in the cot and sat in the room while he baby talked, walked around in his cot and eventually laid down and fell asleep.

    Great if it happens again tonight but we're not too fussed because there's no real urgency for babies to self settle.
