as above, my 2 month old baby boy doesnt like pacifier (elder girl used pacifier until 18 months), and tend to put finger into his mouth, any mummies here have solutions??
Tied up their hands? LOL dont know what to do , just let them suck their fingers no choice if not put chilli sauce or medical oil meh this is what i always like to joke with my dear husband maybe they r feeling frustrated
Hehe.. maybe i'm bad mummy, i teach my boi to suck his fingers.... cause he's still young and can't really suck onto the pacifier tightly. So i teach him suck his hand and incase pacifier drop he has another entertainment rather than he cry and i have to rush to him.... I just keep his hand clean always.
Then , you smell their hand with saliver.. yum yum, very nice smell. haha..
at least your baby boy still want to suck his finger... my ds3 (also 2+ mths) doesn't want to suck his fingers/pacifier.... he's oni interested in "me" (get what i mean??) **eyes rolling** i've been training him to take pacifier but he refuses...
My boyboy also.. love sucking his fingers..
yupyup.. smell great haha...
yea, dont worry, thumb is the perfect pacifier..hehe
Any mums encounter that??

my boy first 4 teeth are upper and lower incisors, at 4-6 months...after that is molars at 8-10 months. Molars are more painful then incisors ....after that then slowly grow premolars and canines, by one year old he got complete set to BITE ME ~
my boy too seems to be very interested in his thumbs even thou he stil have his mittens on (he is only 3mths old). Give him his pacifiers, he sucks but when it dropped off, he will put his hand to his mouth.

Although love seeing my boy sucking his finger but also worried he will became a habit so now slowly slowly change ...
whao your baby so clever only 1month know how to suck. my boy only know when he 2 and a half month.
Hmm... im not sure whether sucking pacifier will lead to ugly teeths which it doesnt occur on my ger. The most importantly is hw to get them to stop the habit when they grow older. i personally think dat helping babies to kick the habit of sucking pacifier is much easier then stop them from sucking their thumbs. Once the pacifier is thrown away or make them throw away themselves, it will make/force them to stop immediately. But thumbs..... hw to throw? Kids r pretty clever nwadays, they can suck their thumbs behind your back!
