thanks so much ! btw, which brand of pump you guys buy? i havent bought mine yet.
I bought Avent Manual Pump and borrowed the Ameda dual electric pump from a friend.
Initially i bought Avent manual pump but after that my hubby bought me another medela mini electric cos manual pump made my hands very tired... an electric one is much more better...
electric pump is better?
invest on a good electric pump! the more ex it is, the longest your bf-ing journey is. lik me, during that time when i feel so stress on bf-ing (cos not much milk n tired), i will tell myself breast milk is not only good for baby and also if i stop bf-ing, very wasted cos the pump just buy not long ago haha!
I think it depends on whether or not you're gonna still express when you go back to work. If you are, then pls get a good pump.. can save time at work. If you're not going back to work (like me), dont really need such a good pump coz I only pumped in the first month or so when my dear daughter didn't know how to latch. After she mastered it, she refused to drink milk from any other source and any other medium other than my nipples, so the pump was hardly used after that. I only took it out to use again when she started on semisolids and i wanted to mix her food with ebm. Anyway, i've already returned it to my sister In law who's about to pop anytime soon!
http://simply-mommie.blogspot.com having her first giveaway! Ends 20/12/10
thanks! going to the philips sale tomorrow to check out the avent pump
oh, by the way, is a single pump or dual pump better?
Definitely dual pump. Everything you buy, must think of how to complete the task you wanna do with the quickest time and effort. So that you have more time to rest when baby is born.
if im a stay at home mum i will breastfeed her all the way, too bad im a full time working mum need go back work and my job doesnt give me the time to pump so i've stopped so my milk supply will stop too..
do you pump the milk and store them and heat them up later to feed baby? or pump to milk bottle during each feeding? is there such a thing as like fresh and not fresh?
