This is a discussion on diapers within the Newborn Baby and Infant Care (up to 12 months old) forum, part of the Growing Up & Parenting category; dear son has been using Pampers Active right now, and was trying other brands like drypers, huggies, petpet and mamy poko. ...
dear son has been using Pampers Active right now, and was trying other brands like drypers, huggies, petpet and mamy poko. So far, dear son is doing fine with Pampers acitve, mamy poko and pet pet. So on and off, we'll swtich alternatively cos see which brands are having offer. Huggies seems abit small for dear son already. So we never consider cont'd with using Huggies.
Was told by my friend that Pampers & Mamy Poko are very good. But overall, I tink its still depends on your baby bah.
oh poor boy...
mother in law also suggesting to let dear son wear nappy cloth but we start switching to daiper when he's 2 month old cos I find out that when he's wearing the nappy, he tends to wake up very often when he's wet. When we chg to daiper, he sleep better. But we make it a pt to chg it 3 hours interval for the least.
Now, mother in law asked y we use diapers??Baby will be very hot in diapers, then I nicely explain to her that dear son wake up very often once he's wet. And he sleep better in diaper, and we make it a pt to chg regularly and he has NOT PROB with nappy rashes. NOT AT ALL!!! But she like want ppl to go her way. But I still go my way... I know wats the best for my dear son.
My baby is using Nepia at the moment, but notice the price is a bit high and sometimes is leaking.
Switch to huggies now..
I also change my baby diaper after every feeding, means every 3-4hrs..
So far, see a lot of mummies recommend mommy poko..
Will let my baby try in future because kiasu mummy just store up 3 packs of huggies
Any lobang to buy cheap diaper?
fyi, NTUC is having diapers promo almost every week.. Nepia is having promo now. i only buy Nepia when it is on sales. i think Nepia is only good cos of the urine indicator, as for absorbing, i dont think it's very good cos cannot last overnight though it is ex. but the cutting quite suit dear son.. haha... anw still prefer Pampers, huggies ultra and mamypoko (just tried one that day) haha!
That day I went to singapore motherhood forum and there is a bulk purchase for diapers. My son wears Huggies Dry Comfort and on the forum they're selling $15 per pack. There're other terms and conditions like delivery charges so please read through the terms. For Huggies, so far the cheapest I bought from supermarkets is from Shop and Save when they were selling 2 for $31.85 (= $15.90 per pack). NTUC selling per pack $16.85.

Hi hueychye, just read that you're using Nepia. That time I also bought Nepia. I bought it straight off their website: Nepia Diaper Delivery Service
They deliver to me in 1 carton. That time I ordered S size, so 1 carton has 4 packs.
I didn't compare prices that time with supermarkets.
Can anyone please advise if it is ok to get PetPet & Mamy Poko Size S for newborn?
Am a MTB, and starting to stock up on baby supplies, but unsure about the cuttings of the various diapers. Hope that its not nec to get NB sizes..
