hi mummies. care to share if you have shaved your baby's head?
i dont know if i shld shave my gal's... as her hair is sooooo nice and thick...
i never shave my dear son head since he was born.... no hair to shave....
now 8 mths then get little visible hair but i dont bear to shave now.....
but shaving encourages more hair growth rite?
my gal's head is now FULL of hair... everyone sees her everyone says so...
so am worried that if i shave she will have more hair...
actually, why do ppl want to shave their baby's head anyway?
so its ok not to shave rite?
but one thing funnie is that her hair does not fall down forward, all standing up one... only except the back where it follow the head shape... no matter how i comb down, the hair in front still stand up... how can i make it come down??
In the end we trim her hair only, and yes, her hair is "standing up". I usually wear a cap over so it flattens her hair downwards. Guess you just have to wait for it to grow longer so it'll flatten on its own due to the length and weight.
i intend to shave his hair this coming weekends
yaya... tats WHAT i thought so too.... hair will bcome coarse... cos shaving is using the blade in opposite direction of the hair growth and when new hair comes out, the ends are blunt....
lynnie, how old is your gal now?
i tried the cap, went down abit then after a while all stood up again... haahaha... SO thinks i m crazy to wear cap at home, so i stopped doing it... :P
My girl is 4 months now : )
ya ya, the hair will "stand" again after a while once you take off the cap. haha...
And my girl is starting to "drop" hair now too, just like me *sigh*... can find strands of her hair on her cot everyday.
my Poko Nigel Baber Wong has been shaving his head since 4months till now on a frequent basis~~
so far has nebber seen his hair grown more then 2cm
all Uncle Nicz masterpieces
i never shave off my gal's hair since birth thou her hair not thick at all, just cut abit during her 1st month celebration hehe... so far so good... hairfall for baby is quite natural, but the hair won't be all shed off, just a few... and it will grow back thou... so on her 1st year birthday last August i can clip her hair already haha...
now her hair grow more and can tie pigtail abit..
well, if i got baby boy maybe i dont mind shaving his head thou hehe...since i have girl so i can't bear to see her botak
o ya, hairfall for mommies also normal specially when you're bf-ing... i shed alotttt of my front hairline during my 2nd-4th month...but it will be fine again after few mths..
i & hubby shaved my girls hair after 1mth....
now hair has grown fully for my girl...
my dear husband shaved dear son's hair when he was 2 mths old & when he was about 7 mths old
that fella easy to pacify, just give him a bottle of milk and that settles everything
we need to shave him at 2 mths cos we noticed his scalp very smelly..and true enuff, when we shaved him, we noticed that there is a layer of dead skin on his scalp..and his head is no more smelly after that..
see attached for his photos
aiya..forgot to attach new born photo
We actually intend to shave my boy hair when he's at 1 month old.
But the elder say cannot. Becos they say the vein at the top of his head is not hard yet. So cannot. Must wait until 4 month.
So i was very excited when he reach 4 month old.
We went to PS, the one with the baby spa and pool. Shave off his hair.
He look so cute after the shave. Look like a monk.
Then when the hair regrow, it did not grow properly. Certain part still bald. Then went for 2nd hair shave. It is better but still gt certain part not fully grown.
Then alot of aunties said dont shave anymore. If not not handsome. Haha..
