hi..mummy,which one is good barrier cream for baby? drapolene or desitin??
desitin is good. my baby is using it. red rashes get cured
darpolene is not very effective.
been using desitin since baby born till now~
All along my family members using drapolene...where can i get desitin from and how much is it per tube??
Tried both n only desitin works.
BTW I have ready stock for sale if any of you are interested
*CanCanMum dont kill me for "spamming" hehehe~
ya, felt desitin is better too but the cream is white col so when apply seem take abit longer.
you can get it frm most pharmacy, watson's n i tink ntuc aso got sell~
Desitin will be better if your baby got rashes. Drapolene is superficial only...
ok thank you....
I use drapolene for preventive and desitin around the anus part. used to use desitin but the cream so thick difficult to wash off.
So far using drapolene no rashes - touch wood. But most important still is change diapers more frequent or as soon as it is soiled. I try to change every 3 hours - depends on baby age. when sleeping at night i try to change longest is 5 hours.
I've used only desitin since baby was born.... 20 months ago....
very good for preventing rash.
cures existing rashes in 1 - 2 days....
very good stuff.... no side effects so far....
It is not considered expensive since one tube can last a long time.....
anyway,now i use drapolene.just want to knw urs opinion..thanx alot,mummy
btw..need to apply the barrier cream inside the vagina lip there? my baby is gal...sometime see inside her vagina lip there abit red..
densitin is better. my confinement lady strongly recommend this. But it's much more expensive compared to drapolene. Another alternative will be benpathen by Johnson & Johnson also not bad. The texture is thicker comapred to drapolene. Densitin good to use during their first few months old, i think. Long term, too ex
I swear by Desitin
I tried both....and Destin is the best..
Till now my gal 13mths i'm still using it...although more exp compared to drapolene but it's worth the price...
Drapolene tried but not very effective ...
i use desitin on dear son when he has rashes or his butt butt is red. it clears the redness and rashes fast (within about 2 days).
i dont apply any barrier cream on usual days....
I read alot of raves on Desitin, but seems like alot of Guardian out-of-stock.
I manage to bought it at Thomson Medical Center Pharmacy, 2 tubes for $22!
My babygirl is using both Drapolene & GAIA.
Started out with Drapolene, quite good.
Then tried GAIA, it's even better, for red patches.
So I'm using GAIA when at home, Drapolene when I'm out.
I used both last time. but only Desitin CREAMY is effective. I dont like the Desitin purple color tube, so difficult to wash off. you can join BP to get cheaper price. My cousin also recommended California baby Calendula cream.. she said it's good and prefer it to Desitin.
Desitin is better. I'm using the blue tube Desitin. Last week I saw it at the pharmacy in Kandang Kerbau Hospital.
