dear mummies, exactly what is this issue with flat head?
my gal has been using the babysafe pillow (the one with a hole in the ctr) since she was month old.
but i was told not to use it further as it restrain her neck to move and thought this may be the reason why her neck is still weak althou she is already 3mths +(which i had mentioned in the other thread)
but i aso got other friends who tell me if dont use the pillow with the hole, her head will be flat
so exactly wats with this flat head thing??
someting to do with her brain structure development or just purely "it-looks-nice-with-a-round-head" reason??

from dear son's born till 2weeks ago, i always thought that dimple pillow will prevent flat head.
but 2 weeks ago when we brought him back to his pediatrician for injection, pediatrician said that dear son's head (at the back) is flat and asked if we gave him pillow or sarong...
we told him that dear son was given dimple pillow which can help to 'rounder' his head and he told us actually dimple pillow not only wont rounder his head, but will flatten his head and will obstruct him to turn his head left and right thus when ppl is calling dear son, he will only turn his eyes not too lazy to turn his head...
from that day onwards, we kept all the dimple pillow as pediatrician said there's no need to give babies pillow. if there's a need to, they will give them when they are just born (in hospital)
