    Re: Food Expiry

i think i've mistakenly fed my dear daughter the HT cereals more than a month after it was opened. I think it has expired for only 1 or 2 days. My ger was all right, but it's best not to try this with your baby.

For the bottled food, I take out what i need with a clean spoon, and will feed dear daughter the remaining portion by the next day.

so far dear son will finish his cereal within a month. as for bottle puree i will spilt to 2 days. today use a clean dry spoon scoop out half for dear son, then keep the rest in fridge. the next day take out, scoop the rest into Avent breast milk bottle and put into warm water to make it warmer before feeding dear son..

In the fridge for clean uneaten portion, not more than 1 day though. Doesn't happen often cos we seldom use readymade food jars.
