Like to check is there any problem when I had given my 2 month old baby with my 3 yr old formula milk?
My new born is drinking Karihome Goats Milk Stage 1. And my 3yr old is drinking Pediasure Stage 4 (1 scoup) and Karihome stage 4 (3 scoup).
I'm worried now because after that incident, my new born's apetite drop. Used to drink 150ml, now only drinking 80-100ml.
Its should not be a problem, different stage give different type of nutrition. Just switch back to the correct stage.
Apetite dropped could it be the 3 yrs old milk is sweeter than Goats milk stage 1 coz pediasure milk is very sweet. BTW how long you fed the wrong milk?
If you are still worry, bring him to pediatrician for a check up.
Since you had fed him once with the wrong milk formula, should be alright. Just be more careful next time.
For mine, at 2 months old, she was drinking 90ml at each feeding. Sometimes they'll have a sudden increase and then a drop in milk levels. Mine stayed at 90ml until she's about 4 months old, then managed to increase to 120ml. There was a period of time in which we changed her milk formula to other brands, she didn't take to them and we finally switched back, but by then, she got disinterested in milk, From 120ml she droppped back to 90ml.
As long as he remains active and is following the development rate, dont't worry too much.
Is he on full formula milk? I had checked with the doctor before, for babies on formula milk sometimes not passing motion for 3-5 days is normal.
My little ones is also taking goats milk..2 mths old drinking 120ml when drinking formula but cant finish when change 2 goats milk.Poo poo not so often, must drink more water in between cause this milk is very heaty.Boil some chinese barley water n mix into milk so that not so heaty prevent heat rash too.Give infant twice weekly, about 10ml barley water to milk.2X milkfeed
My boy's poo is muddy golden yellow type. Since he did it once every 2 days, his poo is a lot, like can over flow his diaper.
Heard many different opinions about baby's poo. My pediatrician said it's normal for baby to poo once every 2 days, and as long as he is growing and not getting any allergy.
Mine when she was 1-3 months old poo was muddy yellow too. Super alot even though she pooed 3 times a day. But that time she was on NAN HA. Later on switch to Enfalac, the poo became more solid and yellowish green, pooed about every alternate day. She was on full formula.
As long as your baby is taking enough milk for her weight, dont't worry.
My baby was drinking 90ml & sips of water by end of 1st month. She used to wake up in middle of night to drink water 1st, then cry for milk. She refused milk if it's offered first. Her milk intake & appetite have always been good (esp if you consider her size) despite drinking quite a bit of water. Tried to reduce water intake unsuccessfully.
If the urine is often yellowish, then a bit of water may be alright. Check with pediatrician if worried.
