My boy is now 15 weeks old and he is on total FM. He is drinking EnfalacA+ and he is already drinking 190ml every 5hrs and i think he should be already weighing at least 7.6kg. He is so chubby and I am really worried that he is overweight.
All mummies, what do you think?
my gal now 8weeks(typed wrong as 16weeks perviously), around 5.6kg, mayb girl not that heavy gua, but my gal no drink that much ,, now around 110ml only.. before pass to nanny i give her every 3 hour but nanny give her every 4 hour..
i want my gal to be chubby also but so far dont have .. i think is ok to be chubby cox your child still so young.. my younger brother also very chubby when few mths old, but he become so slim when grow up..

I think it's individual. My gal was 5+kg at 4 weeks old & about 7+kg at 3+ mths. Now at 7yo, she is about 19kg. My boy on the other hand, was barely 5kg at 4 weeks old and at 12 month old, about 10kg. The paed didn't highlight anything for both kids at their developmental checks.
Think should be quite alright... my boy is now also around 15 weeks born on 19th May 2010 weighing at 7.5kg drinking 170ml every 4 hours..
as long as he is within the growth chart it is fine (you said he's on FM?). if EBM, apparently it doesn't matter if the baby is totally off the growth chart. my son was 10kg at 5months and the doc was like oh it's brown fat he has so it's ok (whatever brown fat refers to...)
my daughter is 7 months and 8+/9kg so yes, girls are lighter although she's quite chubby too with not-so-woah thunder thighs compared to her brother... haha!
Lol my boy just went for his 3mth checkup & he exceeds the upper percentile for weight... He weighs 7.95kg. He has erratic drinking... But on average takes about 800 - 1100ml a day. pediatrician did not say he is overweight but just said he is a big baby.
Pls do not cut down on how much milk baby wants to drink unless they are vomitting milk. They are at the foundational stage & need the calories & nutrients... When the reach the stage when they can crawl around their weight gain will decline.
