i have a 2week old daughter, she is on FM, enfalac. Everytime i feed her she would feel uneasy. i would tr to burp here but still she would spit or vomit some milk, worst sometimes it comes out her nose. its very troublesome for her also because after feeding instead of sleeping peacefully, she would feel otherwise. my sister told me maybe its the FM, might be too heavy for her stomach. i havent bring her to pedia yet after checking her jaundiced. do i need to see pedia for this problem? or can i just switch another FM? which FM is best for her. she was born 36weeks. please advise mo on these. thanks
my gal also on enfalac since birth.. she also got milk coming out from her nose.. try reducing the intake per feed.. but shorten the feeding intervals.. it helps for dear daughter..
i'll say it's best to c the pediatrician too.. at least the pediatrician can give more proper advice..
PS: milk coming out from the nose is very scary.. esp when alot of milk.. I know that.. everytime it happen.. it scares me..
It could be FM not suitable for you baby but is best to seek the pediatrician advice before you made any changes, they will be at a better position to tell you what actually is wrong with your baby.
it's best to see the pediatrician, esp when there's milk coming out from the nose.
maybe you can try holding baby upright for one hour after feeds? Try not to change diapers after feeding, and do burp very thoroughly. some bbs, like mine, need to be burped a few times.
